About ClientRainbow Fabart is a fast growing and a leading Exporter & Manufacturer of All type of ladies’ western wear, ladies top, t-shirts, Jeans, readymade garments and fashion accessories. The client had 70+ users who were using Google mail services with average mailbox size above 25GB.

We were using google email services and wanted to move to Microsoft Office-365. The transition journey was challenging as the mailboxes were huge in size and critical, and the adoption of One Drive and Skype for business was the success criteria. Business Requirement

Rainbow’s business is growing year on year at a decent pace, hence their IT needs are also growing. Rainbow wanted bigger size mailboxes for their users, an enterprise-grade IM tool, and personal storage for each user to store their critical data outside their machines to avoid any data loss in case of any disaster.

Most importantly a smooth adoption of the new solution i.e. Skype for business, One drive by the Rainbow users.
Rainbow decided to involve a vendor who can assess their existing infrastructure, understand their current and future requirement, and based on that can propose a solution.

Solution

Mismo Systems started the engagement with understanding the customer’s business needs, current email, IM and storage solutions, and expectations from the proposed solution.

After initial assessment and requirement gathering, the Mismo team suggested Office 365 suite to the client. The Microsoft Office 365 suite is a hosted, online version of the traditional installed version of Microsoft Office software. This online service is subscription-based and includes Office, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Lync Online, and Microsoft Office Web Apps.

Approach

Mismo Systems set up a 30 days free trial of Office 365 for few key users and demonstrated its functionalities and capabilities to the client IT team and higher management and answered all the follow-up questions.

The client was very happy with the solution and satisfied with the capabilities of the solution and decided to get the solution implemented in their environment.

Outcomes

Mismo team carried out a smooth migration from existing google email to Microsoft Exchange online with no email loss & impact on users and then implemented Skype for business and OneDrive for the client.

After the successful migration and implementation, the Mismo team provided training to the admin which helped the users to adopt the new solution easily.
